The official release date
Onimusha: Way of the Sword’s official worldwide release date is September 4, 2026. CAPCOM’s July 2, 2026 announcement moved it forward from September 25 to September 4. The original 2024 announcement had only given a 2026 window.

Some regional Steam pages display September 3 because of time-zone or regional presentation differences. That does not change the September 4 date in CAPCOM’s announcement.

Stock, price and purchase eligibility still vary by region. Start with CAPCOM’s announcement, then check the purchase status in your regional PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam or Epic store. The old September 25 date does not mean the game was delayed.
